Cursor

I created a cursor that follows the mouse as practice for C. When it approaches a button, the cursor smoothly morphs into the shape of the button, and I added animations that make the button label appear to move toward and follow the cursor.
A PC screen on a white background with buttons labeled Done, A, and Delete. Only Done is shown as a blue rounded button; the others appear as plain text.

Overview

I created this cursor program as practice for the C programming language.
I focused on making transitions smooth, especially when moving onto a button or between different buttons. The language structure was very different from the programming languages I had used before, so it was challenging.
When the cursor enters the window, it changes into a gray circle. As the cursor approaches a button, its shape smoothly changes to match the button’s background. The button text also gradually changes from black to white.
I added animations that make the button appear to be pulled toward the cursor, along with click animations and a 3D-style animation for the button label.
